Resolution authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, Inc. to provide engineering services for Goodwin Tracts Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Improvements (Wastewater Capital Fund 476)
Scott Schafer, Public Works Director
* Marc Cawley, Acting Wastewater/Stormwater Manager
The City of Yakima (City) Wastewater Division desires to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, Inc. to provide engineering services for Goodwin Tracts Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Improvements. The City's existing lift station requires replacement and improvements to increase service areas to adjacent city property which includes serving Camp Hope.
Parametrix will design an improved lift station capable of replacing the current lift station at Camp Hope in addition to serving the U-Haul property to the north by decommissioning the City's problematic lift station. Such improvements will also provide the ability for future wastewater service on City-owned property further to the north of the wastewater treatment plant adjacent to SR-24.
The Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $784,432, has been attached for City Council review and is funded by Wastewater Capital Fund 476.
Adopt Resolution.
