SUBJECT:
Consider and/or act upon approval of Ordinance O2026-33 adopting the City Manager's Proposed Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On August 11, 2026, the City Manager's FY27 Proposed Budget was presented to the City Council. Since then, the following steps have been taken:
- The proposed budget was made available to the public at City Hall, the Library, and on the city's website.
- A public hearing for the proposed budget was held on August 25, 2026.
- No changes have been made to the proposed budget.
The FY27 budget is structurally balanced and ready for Council approval, in accordance with City Charter.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Adoption of this ordinance will provide appropriations for city operations in the upcoming fiscal year.
SUGGESTED ACTION
Staff recommends approval.
