Discuss, consider and act upon the second reading of Ordinance 2026-11 of the Town Council of the Town of Sunnyvale, Texas making appropriations for the support of the Town of Sunnyvale fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027, and adopting the annual budget of the Town of Sunnyvale for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
Staff recommends approval.
Staff has presented the FY 2026-27 budget for discussion on May 16, 2026, June 22, 2026, July 27, 2026, August 3, 2026, August 10, 2026, and August 24, 2026, and held a public hearing on September 8, 2026. The Charter requires the annual budget to be adopted on or before September 20th of each year.
Appropriating funds for the upcoming fiscal year, establishing spending authority in accordance with the adopted budget.
