BACKGROUND:

Citizen Government Review Committee submitted the report June 25, 2025 providing their recommendation to change the City charter to create the office of the City Auditor, who would be appointed by the Governing Body and serve at the pleasure of the Governing Body.

Policy and Finance Committee: Discussion May 7, 2026, July 10, 2026 recommended to move forward to the Governing Body for broader discussion.
