The City shall adopt an operating budget for each fiscal year and set forth estimated revenues and estimated costs for operations and maintenance, extension and replacement and debt service.

As Staff prepares the proposed budget, there is a need to seek direction from the Governing Body on appropriate options for the 2027 City mill rate. Staff expects property valuations from the County before the meeting which will allow staff to prepare scenarios to discuss with the Governing Body. As discussions continue through the months of August and September the 2027 Proposed Budget.
