Hunger Action Day Community Support Initiative 
Requested by Commissioner Marlon Bolton

Vice Mayor Marlon D. Bolton respectfully requests that the Hunger Action Month Community Support Initiative be added to the City Commission agenda to allow the Vice Mayor, during the Commission meeting, to recognize and present monetary and in-kind support to qualifying organizations dedicated to fighting hunger and to working Tamarac families experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship.

The initiative is intended to provide immediate assistance to residents in need, strengthen organizations working to combat hunger, and encourage the entire Tamarac community to take action during Hunger Action Month.
