The City's 2026 capital improvement program includes a project to replace the existing community center pool deck chairs. The current chairs were purchased in 2018 and has reached the end of their useful lifespan, showing significant wear. Replacing the deck chairs will help maintain a safe, functional, and attractive pool environment for facility users.
The City received a quote from Contract Furnishings International, Inc. as noted below:
Contract Furnishing International provided the current deck chairs which has held up well and met the facility's needs. Staff recommends using this vendor again based on their products durability, functionality, aesthetics, and comfort for guests. There are limited vendors that provide commercial grade pool deck furniture and the deck chairs being proposed are propriety to Contract Furnishing International, Inc.
$30,000 is budgeted in the capital asset replacement fund for this project. Due to unanticipated increases in material and shipping, the cost came in over the budgeted amount.
