Constitution week proclamation
In 1956, President Eisenhower and the Congress declared the week where September 17 falls as Constitution Week to celebrate the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787. The H.G. Walker Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) requested the city council to issue the attached proclamation declaring September 17 - 23, 2026 as Constitution Week in Shoreview.
