Whitney Ranch Retail Access Road Parcel A - Notice of Completion of Public Improvements

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as Whitney Ranch Retail Access Road Parcel A (DL2024-0001), Approving the Notice of Completion, and Authorizing and Directing the Senior Engineer to Execute Said Notice on Behalf of the City (BCC Whitney Ranch Retail, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company).
On April 23, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-097, approving the tentative parcel map for the Whitney Ranch Retail project (DL2024-0001). A condition of approval of said map included the construction of access road Parcel A between Parcels 1, 4, and 10 on the Parcel Map. The developer for Whitney Ranch Retail has completed all of the necessary Parcel A roadway improvements. The City’s Engineering and Public Works Divisions have completed final inspections and found the work to be complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is now ready for acceptance. The attached resolution and subsequent recordation of the Notice of Completion will complete the condition of the map for Whitney Ranch Retail and the City will take ownership of Parcel A. A Grant of Public Utility Easement is currently in process for Parcel A and Parcels 1, 4, and 10 of this tentative parcel map (DL2024-0001) and is required to be recorded prior to recordation of this proposed Notice of Completion for Parcel A.
Parcel A will be maintained by the City.
