The Bluffs Subdivision Road Reconstruction Phase II– Notice of Completion

Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rocklin Accepting the Public Work Known as the Bluffs Subdivision Road Reconstruction Phase II Project, Approving the Notice of Completion Thereof, and Authorizing and Directing the Execution and Recordation of Said Notice on Behalf of the City (All Phase Construction & Engineering, Inc.).
On May 26, 2026 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2026-068, awarding the Bluffs Subdivision Road Reconstruction Phase II Project to All Phase Construction & Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $661,667, with an additional 20% contingency ($132,333.40), for a total authorized project amount of $794,000.40.
The project consisted of the removing and replacing aged and failing asphalt in the Bluffs Subdivision area (see Attachment 3 for Project Location Map). This project work has been completed. The original project cost was $611,120. One (1) change order was issued for a total change order amount of $74,719.35, resulting in a final construction cost of $685,839.35. Staff recommends the City Council accept the public work known as the Bluffs Subdivision Road Reconstruction Phase II Project, approve the Notice of Completion, and authorize and direct the execution and recordation of the Notice of Completion on behalf of the City.
There is no direct fiscal impact associated with approving the Notice of Completion. The Bluffs Subdivision Road Reconstruction Phase II Project and associated budget is included in the Fiscal Year 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (Project No. 74200).
