2026 Wall of Recognition Recommendations

Approve the 2026 Wall of Recognition recommendations made by the Community Recognition Commission.
Nominations for the 2026 Wall of Recognition opened on June 29, 2026 and closed on August 2, 2026. A total of six nominations were received.
The Community Recognition Commission (Commission) met on August 19, 2026 to discuss the nominations and select a nominee to be engraved on the Wall of Recognition. After deliberation, the Commission recommended that two honorees be engraved on the Wall:
- Rocklin Lions Club
- Mark Riemer
Should the City Council approve the recommendation, the honorees will be engraved on the Wall in fall of 2026.
There is no additional fiscal impact to the staff recommendation. The estimated cost of the engraving of $1,000 has been budgeted for the Wall of Recognition in the City Manager's Office Fiscal Year 2026/27 Operating Budget.
