Authorizing an amendment to the agreement between the City of Rochester and the Rochester Airport Company extending term for two years.  

This Amendment extends the Agreement between City of Rochester and the Rochester Airport Company originally dated January 1, 2015 through the end of 2027. 

The rental rate of $6.50 sf and space of 9,874 sf remain the same. 

The revenue generated by this agreement assists the airport with it's mission: "To provide a sustainable community asset that places the customer first, acts with agility and accountability, is responsive to stakeholders, empowers staff, and embeds safety and security in all we do."

To protect federal grant eligibility and prevent impermissible revenue diversion, FAA Grant Assurance 24 mandates that airports charge fair market value for non-aeronautical space to ensure financial self-sustainability.  This applies to non-aeronautical city use of the space as well which is the ongoing reason for this lease.

September 8, 2026: Airport Commission - Recommended authorizing amendment to the agreement between the City of Rochester and the Rochester Airport Company extending term for two years. 

Annual revenue to the airport is $64,181.00 per year.
