Adopting a Resolution accepting a donation to the Rochester Fire Department from Charles and Cynthia Cook in the amount of $100. 

The firefighters from Station 3 recently responded to the Cook residence to assist with a faulty smoke alarm. They wish to thank the Fire Department crew for their kindness and patience.  

Acceptance will increase revenue to the RFD budget in the amount of $100 which can offset expenses incurred by the department.

No prior legislative actions directly related to this contract have occurred. Minnesota state statutes 465.03 and 471.17 allow acceptance of gifts of this type to municipalities.

The donation will lessen the fiscal impact of annual expenses in the overall RFD budget.
