Public Input and Approval of EDA Resolution No. 26-04 Adopting a Proposed Budget and Establishing the Proposed Tax Levy Payable in 2027

The following resolution will allow the Economic Development Authority (EDA) to collect tax dollars through a levy to finance the 2027 EDA budget. A resolution of consent will need to be approved by the City Council.
The EDA 2027 Proposed Budget is $942,582.
MN Statutes grant EDAs the power to levy taxes subject to a resolution of consent from the Golden Valley City Council.
The proposed budget strives to advance the equity goals of the City and EDA by funding programs and services that provide opportunities and resources for all. The process for adoption includes the ability for any member of the public to provide feedback.
