A MOTION TO ACCEPT the withdrawal of the petition for the proposed amendment of the Zoning Ordinance on behalf of Boon Street Capital, LLC regarding a text amendment for the "Boon Street Special District" without prejudice.
On August 13, 2026, a petition for Zoning Ordinance text amendment on behalf of Boon Street Capital, LLC was submitted to the Town Council through the Town Clerk's office and a copy was provided to the Planning Board on August 18, 2026. The Planning Board discussed this recommendation at their September 15, 2026 regular meeting and the applicant agreed to make additional changes to the draft at that time and come back before the Planning Board.
Since that meeting, the applicant has provided a letter to the Town requesting this petition to be WITHDRAWN without prejudice to resubmit the proposal at a later date.
