AGENDA ITEM TITLE:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF INDIANTOWN, FLORIDA APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH AN INTERIM VILLAGE MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
SUMMARY OF ITEM:
Pursuant to Section 5(1), Chapter 2017-195, Laws of Florida, which is the Charter of Village of Indiantown, Florida, there shall be a city manager who shall be the chief administrative officer of the Village; and such village manager shall serve at the pleasure of the village council and shall carry out the duties and responsibilities provided by law and by act of the village council. This resolution shall take effect immediately retroactive to Wednesday September 2, 2026.
