The applicant, Garret Zayic, proposes renovating a tenant space at 10925 Bren Road East and to construct a sensory-friendly children’s play gym that will operate under We Rock the Spectrum, an international sensory gym franchise.

Motion to adopt the resolution approving the conditional use permit for We Rock the Spectrum at 10925 Bren Road East.

Planning commission hearing

The planning commission considered the request on Sept. 3, 2026. Staff recommended approval of the request, noting that it met all conditional use permit standards as outlined in city code. The commission report, associated plans, and meeting minutes are attached. The public hearing was opened. No testimony was submitted, and the hearing was closed. 

Commissioners did not have any questions regarding the proposal and on a 7-0 vote, the commission approved a motion recommending approval of the conditional use permit.
