LAFCO FINANCIAL REPORTS AND INVOICES FOR Q1 FY 26-27
BUSINESS ITEMS - GENERAL BUSINESS, NON-HEARING ITEMS
At LAFCO's August 10, 2023 meeting, the Commission requested quarterly reporting on the status of LAFCO financials to keep the Commission informed about LAFCO's finances. Periodic financial reports serve the interests of openness and transparency and will keep the Commission apprised of any budget items that may warrant review and adjustment during the course of the fiscal year. Staff worked with the County Auditors Office to compile the attached shadow accounting spreadsheet to identify expenses for each budget category to date. Additionally, the Commission requested that invoices be included with these financial reports to give more detail regarding use of funds. Attached are the invoices for the first quarter of FY 26-27.
1) Receive report and provide any general direction to staff regarding current or future financial reporting.
