1. Approve retroactive subscription renewal with DLT Solutions LLC for the AutoCAD/Civil 3D Software 3 Licenses (Architectural Engineering & Construction Collection) for Assessor's Mapping Division for the term of August 10, 2026 through August 9, 2027 for a total amount not to exceed $4,038.00; and
2. Ratify DLT Solutions LLC agreements from FY 2008-2009 to FY 2025-2026 that were previously approved by the County Executive Officer whereby the cumulative total of $50,000.00 was exceeded for those prior subscription renewals and costs; and
3. Authorize Chair, County Executive Officer, or designee to sign agreement.

CONSENT AGENDA
DLT Solutions provides the AutoCAD/Civil 3D software subscription renewal for our mapping department. In the past we have researched pricing of the software. We moved from buying the software to an annual subscription model which is less costly over time. When you buy the software, the cost is fairly expensive, and you need to purchase the upgrades or your software becomes old and obsolete. If you wait too long, then you need to purchase the newest software along with a learning curve for using the new software.
DLT Solutions handles government agencies and provides government pricing. DLT provides a quote on behalf of CAD Masters, the local Autodesk reseller in Walnut Creek. We have tried to go directly to CAD Masters in the past and they directed us to DLT Solutions for government agencies. CAD Masters is full service in providing training and professional services such as consulting, solving any issues that may arise, and in the past, they have written special scripts for us.
As an example, Santa Clara County Assessor's Office has used DLT Solutions to obtain the software from CAD Masters,
Online pricing from Novedge, an Autodesk Authorized Reseller -There 3-year subscription for a single license is $10,475.00. That comes out to $3,492.00 annually for 1 license.
Online pricing from Autodesk - The pricing is $3,675.00 annually for 1 license.
Our annual subscription cost for the AutoCAD/Civil 3D Software Renewal for 3 Licenses is $4,038.00 which is $1,346.00 per license.
This is a general fund cost which is included in the Assessor's Budget (35-1007-619.134).
The total cost expended for AutoCAD/Civil 3D Software from FY 2008-2009 to FY 2025-2026 was $113,787.00.
