REGULAR AGENDA
The County maintains approximately 450 miles of roads and 51 bridges that serve residents, businesses, and visitors throughout San Benito County. During recent meetings, the Board of Supervisors requested regular updates on the status of County road and bridge projects.
The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining and improving this infrastructure to provide a safe and efficient transportation system while making cost-effective use of available funding. This monthly report provides an update on recently completed road projects and the status of projects planned for Fiscal Year 2026–27.
Bridge project updates will be presented quarterly because these projects generally require longer schedules due to environmental review, right-of-way acquisition, design challenges, permitting, and other regulatory requirements.
