JV Washam Elementary School Athletic Field Improvement Consultant Contract
Consider authorizing the Town Manager and Town Attorney to finalize terms and enter into an agreement with Dewberry Engineers, Inc. for the design of JV Washam Elementary School Athletic Field Improvements. The Town issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for planning and design of this project receiving three (3) submittals. The Town selected Dewberry Engineers, Inc. as the most qualified engineering firm. The design contract is for a base total of $193,595 with up to an additional $43,240 in possible necessary alternates to complete and permit final design. Construction is anticipated to start around June 1, 2027, coinciding with the end of the school calendar year.
Approve design contract with Dewberry Engineering and authorize the Town Manager and Attorney to finalize the terms and conditions and execute it.
