Appointment Policy for Advisory Boards Update

Action Requested:
Request to review and approve amendments to the Appointment Policy for Advisory Boards. The updates include the following items.
- Modifying advisory board terms to begin on April 1st (from February 1st) to avoid appointment process conflicts during the holidays and after Town elections. Updated existing advisory board member terms reflecting this change is included as a reference; and
- Updating reappointment policy relative to member attendance; and
- Other housing keeping policy changes such as eliminating the Historic Preservation Committee, which is now part of the Cornelius History Museum organization.
Manager's Recommendation:
Approve a Resolution to amend the Appointment Policy for Advisory Boards.
