SUMMARY STATEMENT
| In June 2026, the Poulsbo Police Department was awarded a grant from the Washington State Attorney General's Office as part of the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) project. The grant award provides $5,325.00 in funding for the purchase of a refrigeration unit to securely store evidence collected during sexual assault investigations. The department has purchased and placed into service a Scientific Laboratory 15.4-cubic-foot upright refrigerator for this purpose. This budget amendment recognizes the grant revenue and appropriates the corresponding expenditure to accurately reflect the receipt and use of these grant funds. |
