The City applied for and was awarded a grant from PSRC (Puget Sounds Regional Council) Rural Town Center funding in the amount of $311,400 with a City match of $48,600 for the 8th Avenue Realignment Safety and Transit Study project.
This project will complete a planning study which considers options and alternatives for realigning 8th Avenue near the intersection of Lincoln Rd and Iverson St in Poulsbo.
The City advertised for consultants to perform the work in April 2026 and received 4 submittals. Three of the firms were interviewed and Perteet Engineering was selected for the contract.
The contract with Perteet Engineering is presented for discussion and approval and is within the overall budget of the project - $360,000. The consultant contract has been approved by WSDOT.
Amount: 324,161.00
Move to approve the consultant contract with Perteet Engineering for the 8th Avenue Realignment project in the amount of $324,161 and authorize the Mayor to sign the contract on behalf of the City.
