This agenda item requests approval of a Job Order Contract to complete pavement preservation on Airway Avenue between Andy Devine Avenue and Rutherford Street. The project includes a two-inch mill and fill over approximately 32,240 square yards using Polymer Modified Tire Rubber Asphalt, along with localized full-depth repairs. Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of October and will be performed at night to minimize traffic impacts. The completed roadway will also include bike lanes throughout the asphalt replacement limits.
The project was budgeted as part of the City’s ongoing FY27 pavement preservation efforts. The fiscal impact is $1,258,059.97 and will be paid from the Highway Users Revenue Fund (HURF).
