This item is for Council consideration and approval to purchase crack-seal rubber for use in Residential Districts 5 and 6 in preparation for spring chip-seal work. The attached quote is for material only, which the City forces will apply. Crack-seal material will be applied during the current fiscal year, with chip-seal work in Residential Districts 5 and 6 scheduled for the spring of FY27. This purchase will utilize the Arizona State Cooperative Contract CTR066732.
The total fiscal impact for the material will be $217,697.30, to be paid from the Highway Users Revenue Fund (HURF). This is an approved purchase in the FY2026-27 Adopted Budget and 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan.
