The Kingman Veterans Treatment Court will collaborate with the Lake Havasu City Veterans Treatment Court to participate in the new SAMHSA grant beginning October 1, 2026. The Kingman Veterans Treatment Court is currently working in partnership with the Lake Havasu City Veterans Treatment Court through an existing grant that expires on September 30, 2026. The continuation of this partnership through the new SAMHSA grant will allow both courts to build upon the work and successes of the existing program while ensuring that veterans in our communities continue to receive the services and support they need. The grant will be used to reimburse the City of Kingman, Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City for expenses incurred in providing counseling and testing for veterans. The total grant award is $295,429 for the first year and $283,429 for each of the next four years (subject to funding availability).
This is a reimbursement grant resulting in no fiscal impact.
