BACKGROUND:
As required by the City Charter, this hearing will allow for citizens input on the FY2027 Proposed Budget. Included in the packet is the notice that ran in the Wharton County Leader Journal on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The FY2027 Proposed Budget is scheduled for adoption on September 14, 2026.
Financial Impact: Funds for adoption for the next fiscal year.
