SUBJECT:
Resolution R2026-61 Reviewing and Approving the City's Investment Policy and Investment Strategies; Adopting the Investment Policy Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"
BACKGROUND:
The Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA) and the City's Investment Policy (Policy), require the Policy to be adopted annually by the City Council.
Financial Impact: Policy protects the City from adverse investments. The policy has emphasis on safety, liquidity and yield.
SUGGESTED ACTION:
City staff recommends approval of Resolution R2026-61, approving the Investment Policy for the City of El Campo.
