Consider and Act on Award of City Hall Flooring Replacement Project to Carpet One in an Amount Not to Exceed $34,380
The existing flooring at City Hall was installed in 2000 and has been in service for approximately 26 years. Due to its age, condition, and significant daily use, the flooring is heavily worn and stained and has reached the end of its useful life. Staff recommends replacement to improve the appearance, cleanliness, and overall condition of the facility.
Staff obtained three quotes for the replacement of the City Hall flooring:
- Carpet One: $34,380
- Son-shine Plumbing: $35,480
- J.J. Bubela's Floor Center, Inc.: $43,685
Staff recommends awarding the project to Carpet One, which submitted the lowest quote in the amount of $34,380.
Funding for the project is available through savings within existing City Hall departmental budgets. No additional funding is anticipated.
Financial Impact: $34,380, funded through savings within existing City Hall departmental budgets.
