EXPLANATION:
The Police Department previously identified federal enforcement funds to purchase furniture for the new Police Headquarters as part of a larger three tiered proposal. After further review of available funding, the department identified forfeiture funds as an appropriate source for this purchase of $64,250.16. The proposed funding adjustment does not change the cost, scope, purpose of the purchase, or previously approved grant funds for the remaining items, and preserves previously identified funding for other eligible purposes.
