Because a large portion of Bradenton's essential infrastructure was constructed decades ago, substantial renovation was needed. The City is pushing forward with repairs, infrastructure replacement, renovations, and long-term community enhancements to address Bradenton's needs for today and future needs for tomorrow.
The City has obtained various state and federal grants and appropriations through strategic planning and a vigorous search for external financial support. These funds have greatly helped ease the load on local ratepayers while enhancing long-term dependability/affordability by enabling the City to advance key projects much earlier than local funding alone would allow.
"Face It, Fix It" demonstrates a pragmatic dedication to preserving dependable and affordable infrastructure, safeguarding the environment, and making deliberate investments that benefit locals now and for many years to come.
City staff created an in-depth quarterly update of projects associated with the "Face It, Fix It" initiative, which you will find attached. This presentation highlights current progress, upcoming milestones, and key budget updates across all work sites. We encourage you to review the update to see how these ongoing investments are directly improving our community's core infrastructure.
