EXPLANATION:

The City is purchasing a portion of 109 13th Avenue West for the purpose of increasing the efficiency of traffic by extending the right turn lane to increase the capacity and alleviate backups at the intersection of 13th Avenue West and U.S. 301.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Funded by $65,000.00 from the Road Impact Fee Fund to the CRA for purchase of the property.

Reviewed and approved by Blalock Walters.

SUGGESTED MOTION:

Motion to accept the Special Warranty Deed from the Community Redevelopment Agency to the City of Bradenton for a portion of 109 13th Avenue West for the purchase price of $65,000.00.
