Grant Agreement L0412 with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Injection Well Pump Station Project

SUGGESTED ACTION:

Approval by City Council to enter into the grant agreement with FDEP and authorization for the Mayor to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.

EXPLANATION:

The City is being awarded an appropriations grant for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Injection Well Pump Station. The Injection Well Pump Station project includes construction of the injection well pump station, including pumps, piping, wellhead, electrical, instrumentation, control, and SCADA to connect the aquifer recharge well currently constructed at the WRF. This funding will cover the construction phase of the project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The grant will reimburse $3,000,000 towards the construction phase.
