The applicant is proposing public art murals on the east and west side elevations of the existing Checkers restaurant building. In the drawings, the “low” side is the eastern elevation and the “high” side is the western elevation.
The subject property is approximately .65 acres in size, equivalent to about 28,400 square feet and the existing building occupies about 1,010 sf.
According to the application, the proposed murals will be mounted on Simpson Panels to address the rough surface of the existing building. Please note that while the provided renderings say “TAMPA”, the product will ultimately read “BRADENTON”.
