EXPLANATION:

The Bradenton Police Department is requesting approval to upgrade its existing CentralSquare OneSolution Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS) and migrate the system from its current on-premises environment to a cloud-hosted environment. The project upgrades and modernizes the Department's existing CAD/RMS platform and includes implementation and migration services to Central Square One and associated system components, including Freedom and Centerline.

The City has received FDLE Grant Award BB010 in the amount of $500,000 to support the project. The agreement provides for a five-year term and includes protections allowing the City to terminate without penalty under specified circumstances, including the inability to obtain necessary FDLE/CJIS approvals or failure to successfully implement the hosted solution in accordance with project milestones and performance requirements.

The City’s Procurement Division has approved the procurement as a sole-source purchase. The City conducted a seven-day public advertisement of the proposed sole-source procurement and received no responses.
