Consider Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Holly Springs for Development and Building Inspections related to boundary changes as a result of HB 1029. 

Per the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Cherokee County and the City of Holly Springs, the parties agree to authorize development and building inspections within the respective jurisdictions related to municipal boundary changes occurring on January 1, 2027 in relation to HB 1029 adopted during the 2026 session of the General Assembly. 

The City of Holly Springs approved this IGA at their meeting of October 19, 2026.
