Consider request from Emergency Management for purchase of four Weather Stations from SDS Weather, in the total amount of $31,496.40.

The Emergency Management department is requesting to increase its weather station network throughout the County to increase situational awareness and operational support.  Emergency Management currently maintains three weather stations through SDS Weather and would like to continue growing the network with the same equipment and vendor for interoperability and maintenance.  These weather stations have been utilized by local County departments, surrounding counties, federal partners, and local media to provide real-time data on weather, employee safety, and operational emergency response.
