Consider request from Risk Management for purchase of a Workers' Compensation Excess Insurance policy with Employers Assurance Company in the amount of $194,178.00, including ratification of Chairman's signature due to time constraint for start of policy. 

As a Self-Insurer for the Workers' Compensation employer, the County is required by the State Board of Workers' Compensation to purchase an excess workers' compensation policy. The County's insurance broker, AJ Gallagher, obtained a competitive quote for $194,178.00 from Employers Assurance Company. This policy will be in effect for FY2027.  

The cost of this excess workers' compensation policy is included in the FY2027 budget.
