For Possible Action: Discussion and possible action regarding purchase authority for 15 vehicles for several City departments during Fiscal Year (‘FY”) 2027, for a total not to exceed amount of $1,472,861.30 utilizing joinder contracts (1) 99SWC- NV25-25627 between the State of Nevada and Michael Hohl Motor Company; (2) 99SWC- NV26-25907 between the State of Nevada and Capital Ford; and (3) 99SWC-NV24-20894 between the State of Nevada and Caterpillar, Inc. May 21, 2026 (Item 17A) – The Board of Supervisors approved the Final Budget for FY 2027, including the Capital Improvement Vehicle Replacement Program.

Background/Issues & Analysis

Please refer to the attached spreadsheet for all replacement information. These proposed purchases were approved as part of the FY 2027 Capital Improvement Plan Vehicle Replacement Program. 

 

All quotes have been verified, and all vendors have confirmed they will honor quotes as provided.

2545047-507775 will be decreased by a not to exceed amount of $45,278.25; the available balance is $90,500.00.
5203502-507705 will be decreased by a not to exceed amount of $111,539.50; the available balance is $220,000.00.


*Vehicle up-fit costs are not included in the current vehicle cost as these will be obtained separately.
