Staff will facilitate a discussion regarding current engagement with Downtown Buda businesses, opportunities to strengthen communication and participation, and ways the Main Street Program can continue supporting the downtown business community.

Business engagement is a core component of the Main Street Program and supports the program's efforts related to economic vitality, promotion, and downtown activation. Staff regularly works with businesses through events, marketing initiatives, business support programs, communications, and individual outreach.

The discussion will provide an opportunity to consider current levels of business participation and engagement, identify common opportunities or challenges being communicated by businesses, and explore ways the Main Street Program can provide meaningful support. Topics may include business communications, marketing opportunities, new and relocating businesses, business visibility, participation in Main Street programs, and opportunities for additional collaboration.
