BACKGROUND:

The Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) provides necessary services for treatment of sanitary sewer wastewater for the City of Bozeman. A biproduct of this process are biosolids that need to be hauled to the county landfill twice daily when they are extracted from the WRF. This purchase replaces a 2001 Freightliner Roll-Off truck (asset #2789) with over 415,000 miles and 25,000 hours of run time which provides the critical service of hauling biosolids from the WRF. This replacement was selected utilizing a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract to comply with State and City procurement requirements. Exhibit A is the quote for the trailer. Exhibit B is the Trail King Sourcewell contract.
