Approval of Commercial Economic Development Grant Program Applications
As part of its mission to promote economic development, support local businesses, create jobs and activate vacant and underutilized commercial spaces, the CRA provides financial assistance through four Economic Development Grant Programs: Commercial Rent Reimbursement, Commercial Property Improvement, Commercial Business Relocation Assistance, and Commercial Business Marketing.
The programs provide varying levels of assistance based on eligible project costs, including 50% matching reimbursement for rent and property improvements, relocation assistance of up to $15,000, and 100% reimbursement of eligible marketing expenses up to $2,500. All grant awards are subject to program eligibility requirements, funding availability, and CRA Board approval.
CRA staff has received complete grant applications from the applicants listed in the table below. If approved, the applicants are eligible to receive the maximum grant funding as allowed per the Program Rules & Regulations provided the applicant submits the proper reimbursement documents to the CRA staff for approval.
