The City went through a selection process for art to be installed as vinyl wraps on existing traffic boxes throughout the City (Transforming Traffic Boxes into Public Art). A consultant was selected and staff has been working with them to obtain the required permits for the installation of these vinyl wraps. The proposed Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County allows the City to affix decorative art wrap on County maintained traffic signal control cabinets located within the City’s municipal limits, and outlines the installation and maintenance requirements associated with the wraps.
