Proposed Resolution No. R26-175- Approve the Third Amendment to the Agreement between the City and ABM Industry Groups, LLC., Contract No. 009-2511-20/RW for Town Square/City Facilities Maintenance Services, increasing the annual expenditure from $359,081.04 to a total annual amount of $374,081.04.
Staff recommends approval of Proposed Resolution No. R26-175.
The City and ABM Industry Groups, LLC are party to Contract No. 009-2511-20/RW for Town Square/City Facilities Maintenance Services, originally approved by Resolution No. R20-074 on August 4, 2020, and amended twice: the First Amendment (Resolution No. R24-085, April 16, 2024), consenting to assignment from ABM Building Solutions, LLC to ABM Industry Groups, LLC; and the Second Amendment (Resolution No. R25-211, August 5, 2025), which renewed the Agreement through August 10, 2030, removed Landscape Maintenance Services (-$14,810.00/month), and increased the Janitorial Services price to $29,923.42/month, resulting in a current annual not-to-exceed amount of $359,081.04.
Public Works has since requested additional services within the existing Scope of Services (Attachment “A”) that were not included in that annual amount. Staff recommends the Third Amendment to increase the annual not-to-exceed expenditure by $20,000.00, from $359,081.04 to $379,081.04, to cover these additional in-scope services.
No other term of the Agreement is affected. This contract was originally solicited through the City’s RFQ 009-2511-20/RW.
This Amendment will allow the additional facility maintenance services already requested by Public Works to continue without interruption, maintaining consistent maintenance coverage at City facilities.
