BACKGROUND:
As the Youth Council prepares for a new program year, it is necessary to revisit and review the existing ordinance to confirm that requirements, expectations, and role definitions remain relevant and accurately reflect the Council’s functions. Reviewing the ordinance at this time ensures incoming members have a clear understanding of their responsibilities, processes, and the organizational framework under which the Council operates.
Current members also benefit from the review, as it provides an opportunity to clarify processes and strengthen the Council’s foundation for the year ahead.
