The following licenses are eligible for renewal:

  2. Southgate Ames Iowa, 110 Airport Road, Class E Retail Alcohol License
  3. Target Store T-1170, 320 S Duff Avenue, Class E Retail Alcohol License
  4. Wasabi Ames, 926 S. 16th Street, Class C Retail Alcohol License with Outdoor Service
  5. Daisy's, 1620 S Kellogg Avenue Ste 108, Class C Retail Alcohol License with Outdoor Service
  6. London Underground LLC, 212 Main Street, Class C Retail Alcohol License, Pending Dramshop Review
  7. Hampton Inn & Suites Ames, 2100 SE 16th Street, Special Class C Retail Alcohol License

 

A review of police records for the past 12 months found no liquor law violations for Southgate Ames, Target Store T-1170, Daisy's, London Underground, or Hampton Inn & Suites. Therefore, the Police Department recommends license renewal for these businesses.

 

A review of police records for the past 12 months found 1 violation for minors prohibited on certain premises at Sam's Place and 1 violation for providing alcohol to an underage person at Wasabi Ames. Officers will continue to monitor these businesses for liquor law violations and offer ID training for staff members. The Police Department recommends license renewal for these businesses.
